The Lewis & Clark Conservation District Board is once again offering a noxious weed cost share program for 2016. Now in its 6th year, this program is for privately owned land in Lewis & Clark County and provides 50% or up to $1500 cost share for chemical, for commercial applicator, for biological controls (insects) or re-seeding. Group applications may qualify for up to $5000 or 50% for projects such as Homeowner Association sprayed roads or Irrigation District sprayed ditches/canals. Applications need to be submitted to the Conservation District by March 31. There’s a $25,000 limit and applications will likely be competitive this year.
