It will take place in the meeting room at Lambkins Restaurant in Lincoln Mt and via Zoom conferencing. Due to Zoom bombing, the district no longer publishes the zoom link on the meeting notice on the website. November 2024 Planning Meeting and Regular Meeting

The next regular meeting of the Lewis & Clark Conservation District Board of Supervisors will be Thursday November 14, 2024. It will take place in the USDA Service Center Conference Room at 790 Colleen Street, Helena MT 59601. All meetings of the Conservation District are open to the public. The regular meeting will take place at 1 pm. It will be preceded by our annual budget and planning meeting at 10 am. There will be a virtual option for both meetings. This Workshop is Full-June 11, 2022 Rain Barrel Workshop

Co-hosted by the Lake Helena Watershed Group and the Lewis and Clark Conservation District, attendees at this event will put together their own rain barrel (materials provided) and will have the opportunity to decorate it the way they'd like. Additionally, they will learn about the value of rainwater collection in regard to nonpoint source pollution. This event will be June 11, 2022 at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds in the Rustic Shelters and starts at 9 am. Stream Permitting Reminders

Just a quick reminder to our readers that if they have to do any work that affects the bed or banks of a stream in Lewis and Clark County, a permit from the Conservation District--among others--is probably necessary!  This includes the run of the Missouri River Reservoirs, Canyon Ferry, Hauser and Holter reservoirs. If you don’t know if this applies to you, please contact us and we can help you avoid a violation of state law and possible fines. Any private, non-governmental individual or corporation that proposes to work in or near a stream on private or public land must apply for a 310 permit.
